Kalyani
Kalyani has a quieter rhythm compared to Kolkata’s center, broad roads, university campuses, and a lot of students preparing for their future. Many of the people who reach out here at our Rehabilitation Centre in Kalyani are either young adults feeling the weight of academics or parents anxious about how to support them. We’ve had students come in saying, “I can study all night, but I can’t stop worrying about the result.” Our counselors in Kalyani focus on managing exam pressure, building healthy routines, and offering family sessions so home feels like a place of support rather than more pressure. Evening and weekend appointments are especially popular with students balancing classes.
Sodepur
Sodepur is lively, with its busy markets and constant movement, but under that buzz are plenty of people dealing with stress and habits they’d rather change. At our Rehabilitation Centre we often meet working professionals who carry home the strain of long commutes and demanding schedules. One gentleman told us, “By the time I get home, I’ve run out of patience with everyone I love.” In Sodepur, our work often centers on stress management, alcohol moderation, and family counseling. We also partner with schools in the area for awareness programs, where teachers and parents often join hands to create healthier spaces for children.
Khardah
In Khardah Rehabilitation Centre, we see a wide mix, retirees with time to reflect, young people caught between studies and jobs, and families trying to manage everyday challenges. Privacy is a big concern here, as many clients mention living in close-knit neighborhoods. We make sure sessions remain confidential, giving people the freedom to speak openly. A recent group workshop in Khardah showed us how eager the community is to talk, what started as a small discussion on anxiety turned into an open circle of sharing that lasted far longer than planned. Many of our clients here prefer weekend mornings, so we keep that time free for individual and family appointments.
